Mission Statement
Vision/Priorities
Essential to Midtown Art Center’s Mission, Vision, and
Priorities is an environment that fosters:
To provide application of knowledge in service to
Houston, the state, the nation and the global community.
To offer artist studios, meeting rooms, repertory
theatre, dance studio, gallery, classroom space, tearoom, and art
exhibitions to emerging and established visual and performing artists on an
ongoing basis.
To present visual and performing art programming
continually.
To encourage volunteers, advocates, advisory board
members, and the community to participate in Midtown Art Center programming.
To offer educational workshops, seminars for the general
public and all artists.
To present Art Exhibitions each year.
To expand programming and activities in the Dance Studio,
Repertory Theatre, Gallery Connection, and the Art Gallery monthly.
To collaborate with other community organizations in
planed giving resources.
To survey assessment of the needs and wants of our
constituencies, donors, supporters, volunteers and stakeholders.
To evaluate the effectiveness of our existing programs
and activities.
Midtown Art Center will strive to lease the Dance Studio,
Repertory Theatre, Gallery Connection, Art Gallery and studios ongoing to
the community.
